Briant Kelly has been the Athletic Director at Libertyville High School since 2007. Prior to serving as Athletic Director, Briant spent seven years at LHS as a mathematics teacher, basketball and track coach. As the Boys Track Head Coach, his track teams won the North Suburban Conference Championship, two Sectional Championships and qualified many athletes to the IHSA State Competition. One of the many highlights included a 7th place finish at State by the 4 x 800m Relay in 2006. Briant’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in General Engineering from the University of Illinois, a secondary teaching certificate from Barat College, a Masters degree in Education from the University of Illinois, and a Masters degree in Education Administration from Northern Illinois University.
Assistant Athletic Director
Chris Davis is in his second year as Assistant Athletic Director at Libertyville High School. A 2004 graduate of Libertyville High School, Chris went on to graduate cum laude from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN earning a degree in Secondary Education. During his time at Butler, Chris earned two Varsity letters playing for the University's football team. After graduation, Chris served three seasons as an assistant football coach at Butler. Chris came back to Libertyville High School in 2011 teaching Physical Education and Health. He is the Varsity Football Offensive Coordinator.
